Exams, Lazy Headbands and My Ugly "Just Woke Up" Face

Today marks the first day of my final exams, in about a months time I'll be a 3rd year Marketing student. So I was supposed to post a blog post that I promised everyone, about a creative mind that I had a photoshoot with Saturday, but since I want it to be perfect I've been working on it and therefore I will only post it when I feel it's worth gold. Since I did not want to abandon you all, I decided why not update everyone on what is going on in my life, which is nothing, but exams. Today I started with a "Consumer Behaviour" exam, which was okay. wouldn't say "great" because only started studying the night before (not advised).
Today I was feeling lazy (nothing new there) so I just put on this red dress which I tucked into my high waisted shorts, and since I gained a few pounds I kind of like covering up my behind, which is why I put this shirt around my waist, and it actually didn't look bad at all. As for the grey headband, I was just too lazy to properly comb my hair. You can get the headband for only R50.00 at Woolworths.


 





So since I did not sleep last night studying for today's exam, I'm pretty exhausted. So I just wanted to update everyone that I'm still alive and wish everyone else goodluck for the finals.
I feel like I am cheating everyone with this post as it really is the laziest post I've actually put up and for that I am going to post an ugly pic I just took for your amusement, forgive the smudged eyeliner just woke up haha.

Make-up star in the rising, A Complete Make-Over and Get to meet my girls

Hello everyone. As I am writing this post I am super excited, because I get to introduce a new vlogger to the scene (but I'll give you the details later on in the post). So today I was blessed by the company of my two good friends, Abongile Fongoqa, to my left and Mashudu Raedani, on my right.

I've known these two beautiful ladies since last year, as we all started our first year in Marketing and we've been friends ever since. Abongile is an aspiring YouTube Make-Up star (will give the link to her channel once her "under construction" channel has been updated) and Mashudu is a part-time model, talk about being surrounded by fabulists. So we just chilled today, while eating dried peaches (bless my tummy), and as Abongile brushed up her already perfect make-up skills using Mashudu's beautiful face as her canvas.
One thing stood out when they started with the make-up and that is when Abongile used a razor blade to tweeze Mashudu's eyebrows, as Mashsudu does not like plucking, that is where we are clearly different as I find pleasure in pulling out my eyebrows with tweezers (One step closer to enjoying S&M, mom if you're reading this I'm just joking haha).

Since I am annoying Miss "Take a photo of everything" I had a ball taking pictures of Mashudu's concealer covered face, and Abongile hard at work.

This morning Mashudu looked entirely different as she did not even have the weave on, but Abongile being being Miss "Pimp it all" took it upon herself to pimp Mashudu's head and bedazzled it with the hottest weave. So after a good few hours being with these two lovely ladies, the hair was done, the make-up was perfected and my good friend looked like the Princess she is (I told you Abongile is Miss "Pimp it all")

This was just my day basically, chewing away on dried peaches and watching beautiful ladies perfect each others faces. A special thanks to the two extremely beautiful ladies for turning my quiet day into a glam filled one. Don't forget to watch this space for a link to the gorgeous Abongile's YouTube channel.

Spring and Flower crown lovin'

Finally Spring in South Africa is no longer "around the corner" or "knocking" but it has now entered. Boy am I excited (I'm sure you can tell just by me using the word 'boy', haha). Well since I am a self proclaimed Tumblr girl, not the thigh gap (although I would appreciated one), curly Ombre-Hair obsessed girl, but I'm the type that finds inspiration for tomorrows outfit on Tumblr type of Tumblr girl. Now if you follow all the type of blogs I follow you probably get exposed to thousands of Tumblr posts on flower crowns donned by the likes of Lana Del Rey and lately Katy Perry made the look hers on her new song, ROAR. So of course I have to confess that in South Africa we are kind of fashion backward, not because we don't know how to dress but because we get to experiment with these fashion trends months after America has worn them, and what is to blame the difference in seasons at different times of the year.

Anyway I kind of skidded off topic there, so with Spring here I found it as the perfect opportunity to let my Tumblr girl side free, so I went online, well in all honesty I'm always online, and I surfed the internet for Flower crowns and my first reaction was "OMG, Why are they so expensive", so being the creative I am I decided to make my own "YAAAAY", and it literally cost me less than R50.00 to make it compared to the R500.00 I would have spent.
